The story plot seems well developed and I can't wait to be able to read more. It is such a page-turner; as I was reading, I just wanted to know what was going to happen next. And this sis just the beginning. The whole book is going to be marvelous! It reminds me somewhat of The 5th Wave, but obviously, it's not an alien invasion. Just the survival of a teen girl on a journey on her own. The author uses many descriptive words, I can picture everything that is happening perfectly in my mind.
At first, when it is switching between all of the different perspectives, I was confused about what their importance would be, but I am sure the characters and events are important for later in the story. It was cool to read that beginning part because we get to find out about the past and before the Flies took over.
The cover is so pretty too! I love post-apocalyptic novels and I can't wait to read more and see what happens in the book following the journey of Nico and her puppy, Harry.
