I'm going to be honest, I started reading this book because it kinda reminded me of the 5th Wave and since I finished hte 5th wave in middle school I was really missing the story/premise of it and I wanted literally anything that would be even close to what it was. With this book I would say I got my fix of survivalist adventure - it was very intriguing from start to finish and the story kept me interested and on the edge of my seat. I was always curious to know what happened next. I'm not really sure where I can keep finding survival books like this but I'm always on the lookout for them. It's always so interesting to see how the people survive these challenges. I also thought the worldbuilding in this was super unique and interesting. Again I would say if you like survival stuff like the hatchet, 5th wave, etc, you're going to like this. Everything in this book is done well enough to keep you interested until the end.
