I haven’t finish it yet due to some personal reasons but so far, it’s really good. I love how the characters are shown to how they react to the environment around them. The preparation to keep themselves safe from the flesh-eating flies. I just don’t like the change of person’s view.
There is three main characters: a teenage girl Nico, twelve year old boy Kit, and a mysterious figure call Deliverer. Nico’s and Kit’s view is in third person while the Deliverer is in first person. It makes me confuse when it changes all of a sudden. Staying in one point of view makes it easier to focus.
I like reading Nico’s view more than the others. Kit’s was sort-of off. Like, if his view was cut out, the book could still be good with only Nico’s and having the Deliverer come in once in awhile. The cover is pretty, haves the vibe of the 5th Wave. Overall, the story is an interesting read.
