At a glance, I absolutely adore the cover to The Electric Kingdom. The colors are amazing, and the black hole effect ironically adds a sense of motion to the mix, all of which really makes the title pop. It does get a little weird the more you look at it, but I don't think that's a bad thing.
So, I'm just going to say it, the timing for The Electric Kingdom is either really amazing, or really awful. Depending on how you want to look at it. It's certainly going to make the story feel a bit more harrowing, as any reader will have an easier time imagining themselves trying to survive this apocalypse.
Long story short: This book is going straight to my TBR list.
