A little confusing at first. I had to really read the book's description to get a feel for what The Electric Kingdom was about. In my opinion, there doesn't seem to be any cohesiveness to the story. Unless it starts to take shape later in the book. Given what was provided in the excerpt, rating it one star. I didn't particular like this novel.
