THIS SOUNDS SO GOOD!! I really love apocalyptic stories, so I might be biased towards this. All the the components of this story sound good: the main character, a dog, New England, the forest, and of course the apocalypse. It’s interesting the author included a dog because many books don’t, as they might be seen as a liability.
