The fly flu does make me think of our current pandemic situation although this seems much more tangible (in the form of flies). Reading this summary I was immediately interested in the Deliverer. Are they immortal? Do they just reincarnate over and over? By the sound of it, it seems like they may hold the answer to help end the flu or at least get started on finding a cure.
