I'm not sure if it would be for me or not

The beginning made it seem like more of an adult read and I was thinking this was a YA book. So that threw me off. Then the jumping around in the next couple chapters between different characters. That was at least more like what I was thinking the book would be like. The part that I read wasn't bad, I just am not sure if it is something that would keep my interest.
