This one just didn't appeal to me. I happened to really love Station Eleven, so I was hoping I would enjoy this a little more. Although to be fair to this author, I did read Station Eleven when we were not in a global pandemic so I can't say that isn't a factor in why this did not appeal to me. It just didn't grip me in the same way. I didn't find myself getting attached to or invested in the characters in the way I hoped I might. I do think the cover is kind of cool, and again I loved Station Eleven so maybe I would get invested as I continued to read, but this first look didn't make me very interested in continuing.
