This story sucked me in so fast — in some ways, the post apocalyptic setting is a bit much in 2020 (feels a bit too real with our overlapping crises and catastrophes) but in other ways it is pure escapist fiction, plunging the reader into a deeply visceral world. Excited to read more of this
