The story starts out in a hospital rehab. Caroline who is waiting to get her first patient “is chosen” by Hunter. Hunter has responded to no one and has now “chosen” Caroline to help him. There is something about her he likes. Caroline is up for the challenge of helping Hunter. They quickly connect and start working together. There is a mysterious part of Hunter that is waiting to be discovered.

The characters, who are very believable, make you want to keep reading and learn more about Hunter and Caroline. This is a book I want to read to the end.
