Beautiful story of how love can bridge any time and distance. I can't say more without giving away major parts of the story (and I don't want to do that for anyone who hasn't had a chance to read this yet). There are very few books that make me cry, but this one made me misty-eyed.
My heart broke several times for Caroline (Carly) as she found herself in situations where she had to make hard choices. Ultimately, things worked out as they should, but she had to go through a lot of heartbreak and make some tough decisions to get there. The book wrapped it all up nicely, but it was really emotionally difficult to get to that part.
This story flows so well and reads so quickly, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to escape their time for a while.
