The Dream Daughter was my first novel by Diane Chamberlain and I absolutely could not put it down. Chamberlain writes beautifully and if any of her other novels are even similar to this I am ready to read them all. The characters in this story are very relatable and so easy to fall for you really genuinely want things to come out good in the end. The struggles that the main character Carly endures is beyond anything that most people would ever have to overcome in a lifetime. Her love and commitment for her daughter Joanna is so touching and emotional that I could have read about those two till at least 2022. If you want a story with love, loss, heartache, and everlasting hope you must read this.
