Not really my type of book, but still well written

I wasn't going to read the preview for this book at first, but I thought I'd give it a second chance and I was surprised that the writing and plot weren't really as bad as I thought it might have been. I don't read a lot of fiction books, so I'm probably not the person to ask about fiction novels, but this one wasn't bad and I did enjoy the dialogue and writing. I don't think I'll actually pick this one up or read more of it, but I'll keep a watch on the author and see if they don't write anything else later that I'd be more inclined to read. I always like to read different types of books when I get a chance and this one was a nice change of pace for me and I enjoyed getting to read a regular fiction book for a change.
