This is the story of a young mother, Carly, in the 1970s whose baby is given a very grim prognosis based on a heart defect. In modern day, these issues could be dealt with. In comes her brother-in-law, who happens to be from the future, with a possible solution. There was plot hole after plot hole and I found myself constantly shaking my head in disbelief. The saving grace of this book is the bond that Carly has with her unborn child and her determination to do whatever she can to give her baby the chance to survive. If you like fantasy or are better able to suspend disbelief then this may be a good book for you.
