Librarian: This is a lovely book. It should appeal greatly to readers who enjoy family stories and who enjoy historical fiction. However, it may prove problematic to get this book into their hands in the first place. This is because, unfortunately, this book will most likely end up being genrefied by most libraries as science fiction (it is, after all, a time travel story). And that could easily lead to the people who would most love this story overlooking in it because science fiction is not a genre that they would ever even think to read.
Reader: I read this book in one sitting. It's a lovely story, that takes a science fiction premise to tell a timeless story of the relationship that exists between mothers and daughters. Highly recommend.
