What would you do to save your unborn baby, so that she wouldn't be born with a broken heart? What if you could you break the boundaries of time and science? Would you? Should you? Are the consequences worth the risks?

This story has all the feels of Audrey Niffeneger's "The Time Traveler's Wife." The story is complex and moving in multiple aspects. The Dream Daughter is about one woman's journey through time, if that is what it takes, to save her daughter's life.

The plot flows well, through time and space, to provide a pleasing storyline. The characters are well developed and are easy to connect with. This is the first book that I have read by Diane Chamberlain, and I look forward to reading additional works by her.
