The premise of this book caught my attention right away. It seems to be several of my favorite genres all in one. Historical fiction, literary fiction, and maybe a touch of fantasy. In this short excerpt I quickly fell in love with Caroline and Hunter. I already have so many questions about Hunter and his past (or is his past really the future?). There are several clues given within just the first few pages that make me want to know more! While I think I know where the story is going I am still very eager to see how it gets there. I can tell that family and relationships are going to be a driving force in this story. The writing style reads like a dream. This definitely left me wanting much much more!
