I am such a fan of Diane Chamberlain. I really was worried when I saw that this book involved time travel. Science fiction is not “my cup of tea.” However, my gut said to trust Diane! I am so glad I did. Time travel works as the vehicle to tell the story of Carly whose husband was killed in Vietnam, and she is pregnant with a baby who has a life-threatening heart problem.
