Ms Chamberlain is a local author for me and she will be at my local bookstore next month so I was looking forward to reading this first look. I'm not normally drawn to her type of books but I do love books set in North Carolina and this one starts out in one of my favorite places, Chapel Hill. I get the feeling that this may be a time travel/time slippage type of book which is always a win for me. My interested was piqued by Hunter and I want to know why he already knows this Beetle's song, so I can say the first chapter did pull me in. Sounds like I need go to my bookstore next month, pick up the book, get a signature and find out what it's all about. It's always good to support local authors and local independent bookstores.
