OH, MY! This excerpt REALLY drew me in as the writer has a gift with words. It is beautifully written and my favorite genre - historical fiction.
The characters and the premise of the book sound great as I am assuming that time travel is involved somehow in the plot. LOVE!
This time period is fascinating to me as I was only four years old and don't remember much of it at all!! Reading about it makes is so real for me!!
