I live in North Carolina and have never heard of this author so I'm stoked that she's also from here and set the opening of her book here! It's very obvious there is some time travel/other dimension stuff going on here and I can't tell if that was on purpose or just not well hidden or maybe I've read too many books. Even still, I'm interested to see how this plays out and how they try to save the baby.
