I was hooked after reading the first chapter of this book. The male character, Hunter, is a mystery. I want to read more to find out if he is supernatural. He seems to know things that he should not know and his personality is interesting. The question is, Is he a nice guy or not? I look forward to finding out how he interacts with the other characters and what effect he has on their lives. The books main plot line concerns an unborn child with a birth defect. What effect does Hunter have on that child and the child's parents? If a book brings forth questions that I want answered right at the beginning, I definitely want to read more to get the answers.
