I liked the excerpt alot but it leaves me wanting more

I am very interested in learning more about who Hunter is and why he was drawn to Carly. Why does he know the words to a song that has never been played before? Carly strongly feels that her sister Patti would be a good match for Hunter and from the excerpt on BookishFirst, it seems that Hunter does meet Patti and they get married. How can he help Carly's unborn baby girl? Is Hunter from another time and place? Another planet? I am very intrigued!
