Fascinating--and I have only read the Prologue
Already there are hints that this is a cross between a typical women's literature book and sci fi. We are presented with 2 characters: Hunter Poole and Caroline Grant. Hunter had a "fall" from a roof that resulted in a broken ankle. The result was that he was sent to the hospital rehabilitation ward where Caroline is a newly minted Physical Therapist. Hunter, the "crazy guy who probably tried to commit suicide", is her first patient.
While they are working and talking, the song "TICKET TO RIDE" comes on the radio. This is a brand new song, just released. Yet Hunter sings the words along with the radio. Caroline is confused, but knows that Hunter should meet her sister Patti who, like Hunter claims he is, has Beatlemania.
It sounds to me as though Hunter has come through a Time Portal of some kind and this has me very, very curious!
