My mom loves Diane Chamberlain. She has read all of her books if I am not mistaken and raves about them. This one intrigues and worries me. I will either love the fact that this spans different genres or I will hate it. I'm willing to give it a whirl based on my Mom's praise for her books and see what I think about this writer!
