My first impression of The Dream Daughter is classic Diane Chamberlain at her best - drawing me into another delightful, heartwarming book. The story opens up with Carly Grant a newly minted physical therapist meeting her first patient, Hunter Poole who may or may not have tried to kill himself. The medical staff finds him difficult to work with because of his depression but a familiarity about Carly opens Hunter up to her. She finds him fascinating and sincere and possibly a perfect match for her sister. I already want to know who Carly reminds Hunter of and what is it about him that makes her want to introduce him to her sister?
