An intriguing start to what sounds like a fascinating metaphysical novel, while I've never read any of Diane Chamberlain's past books, this intro made me curious to do so. Although I wasn't sure if I would like this particular title given the 'child with a heart defect' and faith tinged premise, Chamberlain took things in a direction I wasn't expecting!
