Who would you invite to dinner party?
I read Rebecca Serle's Young Adult novels (Famous in Love and Truly Madly Famously), so I was excited about diving into her debut adult novel, The Dinner List.
The Dinner List follows Sabrina as she arrives at her birthday dinner with her friend Jessica to find four other unexpected guests waiting for her—guests that she once wrote down on a list of who she would want to have a dinner party with when she was a sophomore in college.
After the initial shock of what is going on, the book transitions to the past to explain who these characters are and how they came about on her list. While I am somewhat curious about where the rest of the book will go, I am not really invested in it and I am okay with not finishing it.
