The Dinner List by Rebecca Serle opens with our narrator, Sabrina, being greeted by the five people from her "living or dead" list with whom she would like to have dinner. Her list is compromised of her father, her ex, a past professor, her best friend and Audrey Hepburn (she would be on my list too). The short excerpt I read was very promising and definitely left me with wanting to find out how the dinner conversation went and why these six (inc. Audrey Hepburn) were significant enough to make the list.
From what I gather the book is told in real time but then engages in flashbacks as to when Sabrina first meets these people or rather back to a significant moment in the relationship.
I think this will be one of those reads that leaves you thinking about, "Who would you choose?"
