I have been obsessed with getting my hands on a copy of this book since the second I heard about it! What a super creative and clever idea for a novel. I have NO idea who I'd pick for my 5 - of course a family member, but how to choose which one!? And I'd love to pick so many long-gone artists, incredible influential women, maybe a hottie actor? Wink, wink. BUT, to be honest - I'd rather have 5 pets that I've lost! And no dinner necessary just treats and toys and rolling around in the grass. Is that weird?

So, that's the premise of the book. It's Sabrina's birthday and she walks into what she thinks is her annual birthday dinner with her best friend, to find her five people (living or dead) to have dinner with. Her list includes her best friend, but also 3 people from her past and Audrey Hepburn! The story take place just in the span of this one dinner, and all invited have no idea how it's possible this dinner is happening, but they all take it in stride, and of course, Sabrina is the center of attention.

Sabrina's got some issues and I would have given this 5 stars because I really loved it and I read it one sitting I loved it so much! But the drama wore me down after awhile. She's basically confronting a lot of her past and trying to work through it all and it's pretty exhausting! Although a lot is really sweet, and having Audrey Hepburn there is really intriguing to me (LOVE her!) - I do think having a dinner like this for specifically someone like Sabrina, cold be very helpful in facing some lingering past issues and possibly finding some peace of mind and closure! I guess if I ever get my dinner (or doggie romp in the park!) I hope to have no drama and just fun!

A great story - I breezed through it and gobbled up every word. A really, really fun read!
