I was just so confused by this book. It was a very intriguing plot, but I found that I couldn't keep up with all of the characters and their relationships, and why they were even at this dinner. Add to that, that some of the characters were alive and some were dead and were forming relationships with each other.
It also was marketed as a romance, and I definitely would not put this book in that category. When I pick up a romance, I want to finish the book feeling happy and glad that I spent time with the characters, and with this book I was just bored.
What was I supposed to get out of this book? I'm not sure, but it definitely did not do anything for me. I would not recommend going out of your way to read this book. Sorry.
