I read this in a day. That's not to say it was amazing, but I did want to keep reading, which is always a plus. I love the concept of having dinner with five people, alive or dead, of your choosing. Throughout reading the book, I kept thinking of who I would want at my dinner.

For our narrator, however, she has her best friend (who is kind of a lousy friend at times), her ex, an old professor, her father who left when she was young and Audrey Hepburn. It is an odd mix of people and Sabrina, the main character, acknowledges at the beginning that she never thought about how the five of them would mix together. Rather, she only thought of them in relation to herself, which is how most people would compile this list.

Throughout the dinner, we get flashbacks of Sabrina's life. The book really goes back through her relationship with Tobias, her ex, from when the first met up through the present. I'm not going to give anything away, but I think it was well done. It read like a romance book (think Renee Carlino or Colleen Hoover) with a twist of fantasy. (Also it was PG-13 rated).
