If you could have a meal with five people living or dead who would it be? This common icebreaker question we've all been asked before but what if it actually happened to you. That's the concept of this book and that idea is amazing and unique. The cover is a vibrant yellow. I love the design and the color. It make me want to read it right away.
Unfortunately, that's where my praise for this book ends. The characters felt predictable and flat to me. I didn't connect with a single one of them. The story was told in present time and in flashbacks. It was confusing to the reader at times when something was happening. I wanted the plot to develop more than it did unfortunately. I had to force myself to finish this read.
