At first I thought this was going to be New Yorkers doing New York things with a premise we've all had to think of before. This books has an intriguing set up of the five people living or dead you would invite to dinner. Sabrina had played the game years earlier, and made her list, then on her 30th birthday it happens. Her best friend, her favorite college professor, dad, boyfriend, and Audrey Hepburn are there. What starts as the perfect dinner soon becomes a review of their life with Sabrina.
This broke my heart in areas, because it reflects what life and growing up can be. Sometimes it is better and unpredictable. Sabrina does grow through the dinner, and as the story becomes more apparent I began to understand why she is the way she is.
That said I would recommend this to my friends that like literary fiction the most.
