The cover of this book is great, the premise is intriguing, and yet I struggled to finish the excerpt.
Maybe the main character just didn't work for me. Or maybe I felt the first meeting with Tobias was too much a portrait of "this is fate" or too cute.
Right now I'm frustrated with me because I just couldn't feel this book, and I'm not understanding for sure why it didn't resonate with me.
