I love the quirky concept of this book and its use of magical realism. In the introduction, the author doesn't try to rationalize the concept of people who are no longer being alive being at your birthday dinner party - they are just there. I think this is a unique way to explore the people from your past (think Scrooge) and what this means about your future. I'd definitely read more of this one!
