This book is absolutely astounding from what I've had the pleasure of reading so far! The concept of the plot is extremely unique and unlike anything I have ever seen done before. I really love the African culture that the author I produced into the book. The trapped souls of African slave women is truly an intriguing concept. We lose so many people at sea and in this case it was not even their choice to be there. The author did a great job at making you feel the scenary and connect to how the characters were feeling. I loved the ocean aspect of the book as well. I think this would be a must read for historical fiction lovers. I can't wait to finish this and see how this amazing story will end!
