Nowadays it seems hard to find a book that is a unique take on a story. The Deep manages to do this and then some with this very special take on an underwater world. This perspective is one that really had me thinking and curious all the way through the book.
I loved the world building in this book. It was well done and really helped the reader to connect with the characters. The writing style was lyrical and beautiful. The cover is also breathtaking and really embodies the story well.
The only thing I wish is that there was more to the book! It was a pretty quick read. I would've loved to have even more about these characters. I'm hoping there will be more about this world in the future. I'd definitely pick up a sequel.
