Yetu has lived all her life under the sea. But her life plays an important role in this society that they have built.
Yetu is the memory keeper for everyone that lives in the sea. So all those happy, painful, wonderful, traumatic, terrible and everyother kind of memeory you can think of is kept inside her.
These women were African slaves, thrown overboard without any thought. But these women built a life for themselves, and a way to hold on to the memories of the past.
But these memories seem to be destroying Yetu from the inside. And in order to escape them she breaks free from the water and to the outside world.
But through this, she discovers a world that her people left behind. She embarks on a new journey !!
