First of all, this book’s concept is very interesting. It’s lore built off of historical trauma. I appreciate the way it was done. Second of all, the way that the book is written is fantastic. The way that the author has managed to make everything seem distant and separate from the main character’s perspective is really fantastic. The writing style helps the reader to really understand what the main character is going through, how much pain she is in. I also appreciated how much background information was provided, and how smoothly it was done. The amount of information about why the main character was in the situation she was in that was provided helped me to put everything into context and understand what was going on without getting confused.
Overall, I really liked what I got to read of this book, and would totally buy it.
