The story is well put together and the characters tell the story in a way that i was able to feel it inside me. Well that may seem weird, I listen to the audio book and it was amazing. Daveed Diggs voice was perfect for the book.
For all the characters may be hard to follow and connect with they did go through very important experiences. I think this is a very good book to show some history in a way that is accessible to a wide audience. While there are definitely readers out there that won't connect but the story very well, the ones who do we'll learn a lot as a story has so much to offer.

She was fine and all but it wasn't easy to connect to her own emotional level and it may be because you know she isn't human and there's a disconnect. I really loved the flashbacks to the beginning of the species and how they evolved as it gave really good contacts to the story and why things are the way they are.
