(Review is for sample chapters only) I love the world-building, characters and vivid details. Well written and so creative! The plot is interesting and grabs attention immediately. So much beauty and serenity in the sea, but so much danger and darkness, too. I can only imagine how different a life in the ocean would be....but how much would be the same (emotions, jealousies, fears, etc) Yetu’s position as historian for her people is beautiful and horrible at the same time. An honor & a burden. I love the concept of the background of her people. The front cover art is beautiful! It definitely caught my eye and made me want to read the book! The first two chapters are amazing! I can’t wait to read the full book!
