This was a great story that could have been a little bit longer and included a little bit about how the others adapted to having Oori join them. The concept of the book was great but just feel it could have given me a little more. The writing style was great and definitely would love to read more works by the author. I totally could relate to how Yetu felt about not wanting to be burdened by the past anymore. It was a heavy weight to have and she just wasn't strong enough from it. I just wish I knew what else happened after she returned to her people. Were they accepting of what she had done and how she had left them? Did she end up continuing giving them rememberance every year? So many questions!!
