In the little that I was able to read (I'm currently working), I was immediately drawn into the setting of this book. It's crazy atmospheric just in the beginning, and I got lost in that world for a few sweet minutes. I definitely believe I could love this book. The sci-fi/magical realism elements might take me a bit to get used to, but I've heard nothing but good things about Rivers Solomon, so I'm anticipate that it won't be that difficult.
