As usual with fantasy, I appreciate the imagination it takes to come up with stories in this genre even though I am not a big fan of fantasy books. With this particular book I thought there was an imbalance of narration and dialogue. I wanted more dialogue between the characters. I know the author had a lot of background information to fill in, but I wish more conversation could have been included to accomplish this. Just my opinion.
