I don't often come across premises like the ones this book promises, but it looks like something original that I've never read before - though the whole thing about being the only one remembering History reminded me of "The Giver".
Still, it's something I would read because the world being set up - even if it takes a while to get into it, same goes for the writing style - could be really fascinating.
