The cover is well designed and the blurb hooks me almost immediately. It's neat that the inspiration came from a song. Add in the idea of an entire race of mermaids that were born from the bodies of women so cruelly thrown overboard on the journey from their homes they were stolen from to the new world where they were to become slaves. I can't wait to try this book
