My first impression of the cover was minimal, but stylish. Something I’d likely have enough curiosity about to read the synopsis.
The synopsis cemented my curiosity, presenting the book as a more fantastical and historic plot similar to that of “The Giver”. Though it also seems different enough to stand separately. Additionally the diversity of the novel and potential for social commentary seems high and makes it seem all the more interesting.
