The cover looks haunting. Oppressive, you can feel the pressure and see the separation of whatever may be above water. But there are also animals that to us usually seem strange and often dangerous but appear natural and docile next to the main character. You wonder what it is that the character is looking towards or for, above the water, the traces of light seen on their skin and scales and their posture shows strength and openness.
